I-MANJE B-12 iyisengezo sokudla nge-cyanocobalamin njengesithako esiyinhloko esisebenzayo. Le nto encibilikiswa ngamanzi iyakwazi ukusebenzisa umphumela we-lipotropic esibindini, ivimbele ukungena kwayo okunamafutha, ivimbele izimo ezinamashebe futhi ikhulise umsebenzi we-enzyme ene-oxidative i-dehydrogenase.
